Yogurt granola / 優格麥片
After I became pregnant, I am usually drinking soy milk and eating asian buns in the morning. Haha it made me feel like I was in Taiwan. I miss those traditional Chinese breakfasts. I was so happy I found one local soy milk brand. I kept drinking soy milk every morning. However, I can’t eat too many carbs right now. Instead I changed my breakfast into yogurt and granola.
I didn’t really like cereal especially because I have a little bit lactose intolerance since I was kid. Everytime I had milk, I would get bad diarrhea. I couldn’t even drink too much milk or yogurt. However, after I grew up, my body seems to have changed. I don’t have any problems eating yogurt or milk now. I drank yogurt very often when I was in Taiwan especially when I was on diet to help my digestion.
Seriously, I didn’t know the difference between cereal, granola, muesli, porridge, and quinoa. For me, they are all the same until Eddie told me. I’m the person who is always afraid to try something new. I tried eating cereal with milk. I didn’t like it. The cereal became soft and like mud. One day, Eddie told me to try his yogurt and granola. He said try it, you will like it. Then, geez…so good. The granola is so crispy like a cookie. Eddie bought couple different flavors of granola for me. They all have some carbs but very low and healthy. So it is good for me. Now, yogurt and granola have become my daily breakfast. I enjoy it everyday especially since there are so many different tasty yogurts in the US. Thankfully I don’t feel bored of it yet. It is really yummy yummy for the tummy tummy 😛
懷孕後我早餐其實都是喝豆漿跟吃饅頭,因為它讓我覺得置身於台灣,我超懷念一些傳統的台灣早餐,所以當我找到一家當地製作的豆漿我超高興的,我每天早餐都一定會喝豆漿,但是我現在不能吃太多澱粉了,所以我的早餐就被優格跟麥片取代了。
我以前不是很喜歡麥片的人,因為總覺的麥片就是要加牛奶,特別我從小就有一點乳糖不適症,每次我喝牛奶我就會大拉肚子,所以我不常喝牛奶或是吃優格,但是長大後體質好像就有一點改變,喝牛奶或是吃優格都不太會有問題,在台灣時我就常常在減肥的時候利用早餐喝優格來幫助消化。
說真的我不太知道麥片的種類,對我來說麥片就只有一種,而且我也不是很喜歡嘗試新食物的人,有一次我試著吃麥片跟牛奶,我真的不是很喜歡那種口感,就是很軟爛而放棄,直到Eddie要我嘗試吃優格跟granola,一種酥脆型的麥片,他說你試試看你會喜歡,結果...天啊好好吃喔!granola這種麥片好脆,Eddie買好了幾種口味,它們也不是都沒有澱粉,但是比例很少可是又健康,所以對我來說是很好的選擇,因此優格跟酥脆麥片就變成我每天的早餐,加上美國有很多種好吃的優格,所以到目前為止我還沒有覺得無趣,挺好搭 😛
